Lisa Allen Executive Assistant

HER UPBRINGING   

Lisa MoNique Allen was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, on September 24, 1965. She relocated to Beaufort, South Carolina, at the age of three, where she was raised by her beloved grandparents, whom she affectionately called "Mom" and "Poppa." Lisa is the fourth of eight children born to Dorothy N. Hamilton. Growing up in a traditional home, the family values of faith in God and education were paramount. While attending Beaufort County public schools, she discovered her passion for supporting others, which laid the foundation for her future in various support services.     

HER CERTIFICATIONS   

After graduating from Battery Creek High School, Class of 1983, Lisa had already earned her certificate in early childhood education and became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). With over 30 years of experience in the health field, she has dedicated her life to charitable work, which includes feeding and clothing the homeless and providing assistance to individuals of all ages. Additionally, she is a certified Notary Public (N.P.) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling. Lisa is currently pursuing her Master's in Christian Counseling at FMI Biblical Studies and Seminary to further enhance her skills in providing support services.     

HER INSPIRATION   

After retiring, Lisa established an organization aimed at helping women and children who are survivors of abuse and domestic violence. Although she has five biological children, her home is always open to others, many of whom affectionately call her "Mama Lisa." She is also the proud grandmother to seven biological grandchildren, with several others in her life, lovingly referred to as "Nana's Babies." Regardless of the distances between them, she makes it a point to spend quality time with each of her grandchildren. Lisa is diligent in all her endeavors and firmly believes in not taking no for an answer.     

HER MOTTO   

Lisa exemplifies resilience, and her motto is, "Make the choice to take a chance for a better change. You control the situation. Don't let circumstances control you."
